Stir Fry Beef and Broccoli
Ingredients
Boneless sirloin beef (200g)
Broccoli (1 lb)
Chopped garlic (3 teaspoons)
Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
Salt (1 teaspoon)
Marinating ingredients
Soya sauce (1 tablespoon)
Olive oil (1 teaspoon)
White pepper (¼ teaspoon)
Sauce ingredients
Oyster sauce (1 tablespoon)
Soya sauce (2 teaspoons)
Cornstarch (1 teaspoon)
Water (¼ cup)
Directions
1. Cut beef across grain into slices
2. Marinate beef with marinating ingredients and leave it for 30 minutes
3. Wash broccoli and drain away the water.
4. Cut broccoli into flowerets, peel stems and cut into ¼ inch slices.
5. Mix sauce ingredients together and set aside.
6. Preheat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a wok over high temperature. Stir-fry 1½ teaspoons of garlic until golden and put in broccoli. Add in 1 teaspoon of salt. Stir fry until broccoli is ready, remove and set aside.
7. Again heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a wok over high temperature and
stir-fry 1½ teaspoons of garlic until golden and put in beef.
8. When beef is almost ready, add in sauce. Stir-fry until cooked and pour beef and sauce on the broccoli.
