Beef with Onions in Black Pepper Sauce
Ingredients
Boneless sirloin (400g)
1 Large Onion
Chopped garlic (1 teaspoon)
Olive oil (1 tablespoon)
Salt (1 teaspoon)
Marinating ingredients
Soya sauce (2 tablespoons)
Olive oil (1 teaspoon)
Black pepper (1 teaspoon)
Sauce ingredients
Oyster sauce (2 teaspoons)
Soya sauce (1 tablespoon)
Dark soya sauce (2 teaspoons)
Black pepper (1 teaspoon)
Cornstarch (1 teaspoon)
Water (1/4 cup)
Directions
1. Cut beef across grain into strips.
2. Marinate beef with marinating ingredients for 30 minutes.
3. Cut onion into thin slices.
4. Pre-mix all sauce ingredients together and set aside.
5. Preheat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a wok over high temperature, put in garlic and onion slices, stir-fry until golden and add in beef.
6. When beef is almost cooked, quickly remix sauce and pour it into the wok.
7. Saute until onions and beef are ready and sauce is thick.
