Green Beans with Ground Pork
Ingredients
Green beans (300g)
Ground pork (230g)
Dried shrimps (70g)
Zha Cai (70g)
Chopped garlic (1 teaspoon)
Olive oil (1 teaspoon)
Salt (1/2 teaspoon)
Marinating Ingredients
Salt (1/2 teaspoon)
Sugar (1/2 teaspoon)
Corn starch (1 teaspoon)
Olive oil (1 teaspoon)
Sesame oil (1/2 teaspoon)
Sauce Ingredients
Soya sauce (1 tablespoon)
Sugar (1/2 teaspoon)
Corn starch (1 teaspoon)
Water (2 tablespoons)
Directions
1. Wash and remove the ends of green beans and cut them into 1 inch long pieces.
2. Marinate ground pork with marinating ingredients and leave it for 15 minutes.
3. Soak the dried shrimps in water until soft and drain the water. Maker sure dried shrimps are not too wet.
4. Rinse away the spicy flavor from the zha cai (pressed vegetables).
5. Add 1 teaspoon of olive oil and ½ teaspoon of salt in boiling water. Cook green beans in hot water (make sure they are not over-cooked).
6. Preheat olive oil in a wok over high temperature. Stir-fry chopped garlic, dried shrimps and zha cai until golden and put in ground pork.
7. Mix sauce ingredients on the side. When the pork is almost cooked, put in the green beans and the sauce. Stir-fry until pork is completely cooked.
