Ma-Po Tofu
Ingredients
Ground pork (200g)
Tofu (400g)
Chopped garlic (½ tablespoon)
Chili bean sauce (1 tablespoon)
Olive oil (1 tablespoon)
Marinating Ingredients
White pepper (¼ teaspoon)
Rice wine (2 teaspoons)
Soya sauce (1 tablespoon)
Sauce Ingredients
Corn starch (1 teaspoon)
Salt (1 teaspoon)
Sugar (½ teaspoon)
Water (¼ cup)
Directions
1. Wash the ground pork and drain. Marinated the pork with the marinating ingredients for 10 minutes.
2. Cut tofu into cubes (2x2x2 cm).
3. Mix sauce ingredients together and set aside.
4. Pre-heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok over high temperature, stir fry chopped garlic and chili bean sauce for a moment.
5. Add in ground pork and stir fry until it is loose. Add in tofu and sauce. Adjust to small heat and cook for 15 minutes.
