Pork with Asparagus

 

Ingredients

 

Pork (200g)
Asparagus (200g)
Chopped ginger (1 teaspoon)
Olive oil (1 tablespoon)

 

Marinating ingredients

 

Salt (½ teaspoon)
Cornstarch (½ teaspoon)
Rice wine (1 teaspoon)
White pepper (¼ teaspoon)

 

Sauce ingredients A

 

Fish sauce (¼ teaspoon)
Salt (¼ teaspoon)
Sesame oil (¼ teaspoon)
Rice Wine (1 teaspoon)
Water (1 tablespoon)

 

Sauce ingredients B

 

Cornstarch (1 teaspoon)
Water (1 teaspoon)

 

Directions

 

1. Cut pork into slices.  Marinate with marinating ingredients for 30 minutes.

 

2. Wash asparagus and drain.  Cut into 5 cm sections.

 

3. Pre-mix sauce ingredients B together and set aside.

 

4. Preheat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a wok over high temperature.  Stir-fry chopped ginger until sizzling and put in pork. 

 

5. When pork is almost cooked, add in asparagus and sauce ingredients A.

 

6. When pork and asparagus are ready, quickly remix sauce ingredients B and add in wok. Stir fry for a few seconds and your dish is ready.
