Satay Chicken
Ingredients
Chicken drumsticks (4 pieces)
Onion (80g)
Green bell pepper (60g)
Yellow bell pepper (40g)
Red bell pepper (40g)
Chopped garlic (1 teaspoon)
Olive oil (2 tablespoon)
Marinating ingredients
Soya sauce (1.5 tablespoons)
Salt (1 teaspoon)
Sugar (¼ teaspoon)
Rice wine (1 tablespoon)
Cornstarch (1 tablespoon)
Sauce ingredients
Bull Head’s barbecue sauce (2 tablespoons)
Soya sauce (1 tablespoon)
Water (¼ cup)
Directions
1. Remove bone from drumsticks and cut them into big pieces.
2. Marinate chicken with marinating ingredients for 1 hour.
3. Wash and cut onion and chili peppers into pieces (1x1 inch).
4. Preheat the oil in a wok over high temperature, saute garlic and onion until golden, add in chicken and barbecue sauce.
5. Stir-fry chicken until half cooked, add in peppers.
6. Put in ¼ cup of water and soya sauce.
7. Stir-fry until chicken is ready.
