Spicy Calamari with Celeries
Ingredients
Squid (300g)
Celeries (150g)
Chili pepper (10g)
Chopped garlic (½ teaspoon)
Oil (1 tablespoon)
Sauce ingredients
Chili bean sauce (1 teaspoon)
Salt (¼ teaspoon)
Rice wine (1 tablespoon)
White pepper (¼ teaspoon)
Sesame oil (¼ teaspoon)
Directions
1. Cut squid into 1x5 cm sections.
2. Cut Chili pepper diagonally into small pieces.
3. Wash and drain celeries. Cut diagonally into 1 cm wide sections.
4. Cook squid in boiling water for a short while (~10 seconds), remove and drain.
5. Preheat oil in a wok over high temperature. Put in garlic, Chili peppers and chili bean sauce, stir fry until sizzling.
6. Add in celeries, squid and salt.
7. When squid is almost cooked, add in rice wine, white pepper and sesame oil.
8. Saute until squid is cooked.
