Spicy Chicken Bits
Ingredients:
Chicken cutlet (300 grams)
Green bell pepper (1 unit)
Red bell pepper (1 unit)
Chili pepper (2 units)
Chopped garlic (½ teaspoon)
Olive oil (1 tablespoon)
Marinating ingredients:
Salt (1 teaspoon)
Rice wine (1 tablespoon)
Cornstarch (1 tablespoon)
Olive oil (½ teaspoon)
Sauce ingredients:
Salt (½ teaspoon)
Dark soya sauce (1 teaspoon)
Sugar (½ teaspoon)
Rice wine (1 tablespoon)
Sesame oil (1 teaspoon)
Water (1 tablespoon)
Directions:
1. Wash and cut chicken into bits (½ x ½ x ½ inch).
2. Mix chicken with marinating ingredients and set aside for 20 minutes or more.
3. Wash and cut bell peppers into small squares (½ x ½ inch).
4. Cut chili peppers into small pieces.
5. Preheat 1 tablespoon oil in a wok over high temperature, stir fry chili pepper and garlic until sizzling.
6. Add in chicken, salt (½ teaspoon), dark soya sauce (1 teaspoon) and rice wine (1 tablespoon).
7. When chicken is half cooked, add in bell peppers, sesame oil (1 teaspoon), sugar (½ teaspoon) and water (1 tablespoon).
8. The dish is ready when chicken is fully cooked.
